I have a Linksys BESF41 v2, AT&T Roadrunner Cable and a 3com NIC. I have my computer and my wife's networked together. Lately, neither computer will connect to the internet or access our email accounts. I won't get a "can't find server" message or similar, just the computer (either one, doesn't seem to matter) continually tries to access the site that I requested. It doesn't timeout, just very slowly tries to load the page. For example, my wife's home page is Yahoo. The top of the page logo loads in about 10-15 seconds and then the site just sits there and does nothing else.
If I shut down the computers and reset the settings on the router, the connection is restored. However, it seems like if I shut down the system, for an extended period (overnight for example) the computer "forgets" everything I entered.
Any ideas on the problem and a possible solution.
