Help with Limiting Bandwith on Router for 2 Computer

My son and I play games on same internet. We both share the same connection and use the same router wireless.
Without giving my specs could someone tell me what i need to do to limit the bandwidth on each computer.

I'll explain why.
I don't want to lag him out when i play around on youtube. But as soon as hes playing and i watch a video he gets lag and i need to know how to fix it!
 
Just on a side note. I read about dd wrt but dont know how to use it. Someone just list a few steps on what to do and i would be eternally grateful!
 
Best solution? Get a better connection. Unless of course you have a router from 1995 (Like an SMC barricade), then it's time to upgrade. But that's probably not the reason.
