I have a set of the Kipsch Promedia 5.1 GMX speakers. I recently noticed that on one of the speakers, the actual speaker driver inside of the casing seemed to be set back a bit (unlike the others which are tight against the front of the housing).
So, I touched it to see how loose it was and the whole speaker fell back into the housing. It looks like there are supposed to be screws holding it on, but I don't even see any screws inside of it (the holes look stripped, but I don't see the screws laying around anywhere). The speaker still plays sound, but it's definitely not good to be like this.
Anyone know if this is fixable? I couldn't get the housing apart to open it up and see. Doesn't seem like they wanted you to be able to do that.
Or is Klipsch is likely to fix or replace this?
