I need to get Internet explorer 5.5 for a Windows NT 4.0 PC, however, that PC is not connected to the internet.

I have access to PCs running win2k Pro and win98 that are connected to the web via network cards.

How can I download the full install instead of the ie5setup.exe that seem to be OS specific??
Darn MS...

Run the .exe and choose a CUSTOM install. In the Advanced button, there should be an option to download all the components for installation at a later time. This will dump everything in a "Windows setup files" folder in your c:\ root directory. From there, you can move it across the lan, save to ZIP, burn onto a CDR, etc.

Follow these instructions...works like a charm.

Linky Linky

Opps, guess i should add if you want the 5.5 version, then download that initial file instead of version"6" and change all "ie6" names to the correct "ie5" names in the RUN string.

Hey, thanks for the linky linky, I just *hate* downloading and installing new versions of IE on each computer individually... I did notice an option to do the custom install sometimes... but sometimes it does not show up at all
