Help with Internet Connection

I have a cable modem connected to the wall with a cable, power cord is in, and the cat5 cable is connected both to the computer and the modem.

However, the computer wont pick the internet connection up. In device manager, it says it doesnt recognize the Ethernet controller. How do I get the drivers for it? HELP!

Your nic card should've came with drivers for it. Usually on a floppy disk.

if you dont got em..... download the drivers on another PC and install
