Help with Intel 1500 pro SSD unsafe shutdown count

hhhd1

Senior member
This SSD seems to have an issue where the
"AE - Unexprect power loss count" and the "C0 - Unsafe shutdown count"
is equal to the
"0C - Power cycle count"
and increases in every reboot, even when used in place of other HDDs/SSDs that do not have similar problem.

according to google, some people posting their SMART attributes values seems to have similar issue:
https://communities.intel.com/thread/83243?start=0&tstart=0

12 Power_Cycle_Count 23
174 Unknown_Attribute 23
192 Power-Off_Retract_Count 23

in this page: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/5657/INTEL-SSDSC2BF180A4H
there seems to be 3 firmwares:
LH6i - the one I have.
LSTi - only for a different variant of the drive with opal encryption
LHBi - can't find anywhere, probably should work ..

Intel do not support OEM drives directly, and can't find the firmware update anywhere else ..

my drive is SSDSC2BF180A4H

Any suggestions ?

What OS, and what drivers you using?
Tried them all, and it happens to this SSD, while it doesn't happen to any other HDD/SSD connected to the same SATA/power ports.

Tried windows 8 with irst, then with msahci, then ubuntu 14.04.
