I need some help. I have a computer set up in my office which I call my big PC. I also have a laptop.

I recently purchased a wireless router so I could use the laptop in my living room. I have it networked with my big PC so I can get to the files on that computer. It works great, except I now realize that I can't access my email through my big PC. I need to be able to work with emails as well as internet and my files all at the same time. I cannot use the email on my laptop because replies will not be seen on my big PC, and I'll have to download and file the emails away all over again on the big PC.

I need a way to setup a computer workstation so I can operate my big PC from my living room. I'm hoping to be able do this with wireless equipment. I actually have a wireless keyboard and mouse, but I can't seem to find any information on wireless monitor signals. I'm thinking that some company out there must make a wireless device like a docking station that will send the information back to my big PC.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Greg

Configure your email client program (Outlook or whatever) to leave copies of the emails on the server for 3 days or whatever makes sense. Then both PCs can retrieve the same emails from the servers they're calling in to. That won't sync them on the Sent Items or Contacts, but maybe it'll meet your needs.
