I am having difficulty installing the Dell branded WD1200JB. When I plug it into the motherboard, it takes a long time for the bios to detect the drive, sometimes it find it and sometimes it dosen't. If it finds the WD1200, the next step in the post (the Adaptec 29160 scsi ID detection) takes unusually long as well. The last part of it is that the system will not boot. Everything works fine again when I remove the WD1200JB from the computer. I know that the computer is the problem because this is the second drive that I have tried with it and its the same symptoms.
