in the (hd0,0) statement what do the numbers mean?
i'm guessing the first is device#...and second is partition#...
i'm trying to boot from serial ata drive, but it just gets stuck at a blank screen...
I've tried making the sata drive my 2nd boot device...i've tried changing the (hd0,0) to (hd1,0), (hd2,0), etc.
everything didn't work...please HELP!
Also, i need driver support for my Live! drive from Creative. I want to be able to use my headphones on the drive. I've tried apt-cache get...found nothing. went to the open source web site for creative. have tried to extract it with tar...didn't work. how do i install this driver?
