Help with graphical problems

I have a MSI GeForce 2 PRO, and in certain games get massive graphical problems. Some example are GTA3 will stretch textures, and artifacts will show up all over. Same problem with Battlefield 1942, and some others. Ive tried the newest Nvidia drivers, and Ive tried older drivers also. None of them seem to help. My video card is not overclocked at all. Any help is welcome.

You tried running your CPU not overclocked does it happen still, also do you`ve V-SYNC on or off? ( V-sync off can give tearing & odd artifacts on screen).

Ive tried with the processor up down and all around, so thats not it.. But I cant say Ive tried messing with V-sync Ill go do that now.

I tried all the windows settings for V-sync. It dosnt help much, if at all. Are there any otehr settings that can cause tearing and artifacts?
