I recently put Win2k on my system... its a old 336 celeron Gateway with 256 megs of Ram. It doesnt have a AGP slot so I was forced to get a PCI card for it. Before when I had win98 on it, upon bootup I would sometimes have fuzzy lines and have to reboot but that was the only problem. Now, with Win2k when I have the bios set to load video from the PCI slot.... windows will freeze upon bootup. I have all the drivers correctly installed.... or atleast im pretty sure... no yellow circles!!! Has anyone had a similar problem? Or does anybody know what im doing wrong? Its been suggested to flash my bios, do you think this could solve my problem? If so... how would I go about doing that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
