Help with full screen DVD playback on ATI 9800 Pro

I can watch a DVD in a window, but when I go to play it in full screen mode, I get nothing. I'm running an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro card with a Dell 2001FP LCD set at 32bit color and 1600x1200. I'm running the latest Catalyst 4.7 drivers. Any ideas? TIA.
 
Actually. . .just figured it out. I ended up shutting down my PC and rebooting. Don't know why it worked this time since I had previously rebooted a few times. Thanks for the help though. 🙂
 
I have this same problem with the playing of dvds. I can't figure it out. I've tried reinstalling my dvd decoder and reinstalling my 9700 pro drivers, but no luck. Any one have a fix?
 
I would try to uninstall and reboot. Then install the driver's again and reboot. That's what fixed my issue. . .might be worth a shot.
