Help with fried RAM

is there any way to fix RAM that might have been damaged by static?

Cut a lamp wire, attach both ends to the dimm, and lick it with your tongue while plugged into an outlet.

A damaged dimm I would presume is pretty hard to repair; maybe if it needed a tad of soldering work, but even that would seem like a pain, you probably will have to trash it; but try it in another system first.

Test it in a couple of systems to verify it is truly "bad". If you still have a receipt simply send it in for RMA.

RMA won't work cause i got it off of anandtech

maybe ask the person you buy it from to RMA for you
the extra shipping could be worth, even know the memory is cheap now.
