Help with fried RAM

Cut a lamp wire, attach both ends to the dimm, and lick it with your tongue while plugged into an outlet. :)

A damaged dimm I would presume is pretty hard to repair; maybe if it needed a tad of soldering work, but even that would seem like a pain, you probably will have to trash it; but try it in another system first.

Test it in a couple of systems to verify it is truly &quot;bad&quot;. If you still have a receipt simply send it in for RMA.

maybe ask the person you buy it from to RMA for you
the extra shipping could be worth, even know the memory is cheap now.
