Help with Far Cry

My system specs are:
AMD 3200 64 but on 32 bit system
1 gig ram
6800GT 256 MB
DirectX 9 or better

I can't get Far Cry to run properly my system should be able to run it on high settings but the game looks the same on the highest and lowest settings, except on higher settings I get artifacts. The frame rate does not drop either. PLz help.

Make sure you update to the 1.33 patch...

Also, make sure your video card is NOT overclocked, as that can have a lot to do with artifacts. Make sure your drivers are current. Are they?
