Hi,
I have a Mitsubishi 21 inch monitor, and during some recent power
problems, there was a flickering of the power to the whole apartment
(signalled by lights, etc, flickering and dying), then the monitor
powered down and up again suddenly. Now there is a power light and no
picture (not even on screen display). It was plugged into a surge
protector, which I returned for testing, but was told it was fine. I
have been told I experienced a "brown out".
What is the likely problem with my out of warranty monitor, and how
much would it cost to fix? Where would I go to fix it? Mitsubishi no
longer has local service for out of warranty monitors - I have to send
this 70lb beast to CA (from the East Coast).
Suggestions please??
