Help with Explorer Favorites

I am going to clean install MS XP Home tomorrow. I now am running 98SE. I want to save my MS Internet Explorer Favorites to a CD so that I (hopefully) can reinstall them. I am using "Click and Burn" which has always been a good application. When I copy the files over to Click and Burn I get the message: "The file names listed below do not respect the rules imposed by the chosen File System or they have reading problems".
Can some one tell me how I can convert these favorite files in such a way that I can put them on a CD and then re- install them after I install XP?

You should not need to translate. I copied my IE favorites from my old Win98se PC to this one, running XP Home. I simply copied the Win98se Favorites folder to a floppy, put the floppy in my XP machine, and copied the favorites.
Was not a big deal.

(My Win98se PC does not have a cd-rw nor is it networked. Hence, I used a floppy. Besides, the Favorites are very small files!)
