so i put the board in the case with the processor and RAM mounted in it, put the vid card in, plugged in the mobo power and the two case fans, pushed the power buttons, and get code "FF" on the motherboard's display. from the back of the manual it says this means BIOS has passed on system control to the OS, but i get absolutely nothing on the monitor. zilch. any help?
 
duron 750, was set to 100 but tried switching anyway, no go. tried different vidcard and RAM too, no go on those.
 
pulled the heatsink off, didn't crack the core. looks like its RMA time. wish i knew someone with a socket A sys so i could figure out if its the CPU or mobo.
