Help with Elite Duo and Unreal Tournament

I am not sure if this is the right forum but here goes ...

I have a weird problem. I just bought a Logitech Elite Duo it works great. After installing the software that came with it, I can no longer get UT to boot up. I get a general protection fault. I tried closing all the background apps and removed/reinstalled the video card driver. The only way I can get UT to work is to restore the computer prior to the Logitech software install.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I don't want to lose UT. RTCW works just fine.

AMD 1600+
Epox KT266A motherboard
768 MB DDR 2100 ram
Leadtech Geforce2 MX200 video card
WinXP/98 dual boot (only use XP right now)

I did read on the UT support forum that this problem has came up before but it appears that the only solution is to not have the iTouch software installed which sucks. All those buttons wasted.

Anyone have this cordless setup and get UT to work?
