Help with ECS Motherboard.

I just bought a brand new 6100 sm-m mobo, and i am having a small problem. My front usb ports are not working, and all my other usb ports are showing up as 1.1 instead of 2.0. Any suggestions?

"My front usb ports are not working": Are they plugged into the mobo? if so, is hte port jumpered(per manual) to the "on" position?

"usb ports are showing up as 1.1 instead of 2.0.": Make sure you installed the 2.0 driver, if you're running Windows..the driver is usually installed during Windows Update.

the mobo has two options for plugging in the front usbs, so yes -- i plugged them into one and then tried the other plug when they didnt power up. i have all the available windows updates installed. any other suggestions?
