Help with e6750 OC and vcore

I am oc'ing my e6750 on a p35-ds3l. I have bios f9. I had the vcore unchanged (1.35) and hit 3.2ghz stable. To reach 3.34 i cannot run stable under 1.39. Does that seem weird? Is it bad? Temps are fine at 38c idle and 58 on loa, but i dont know if 1.39 is bad for another reason?
 
Your fine and that seems normal some chips need more. Read that stickies on v core at the top will help you out some your not really bad until your over 1.5.
 
it is just one core that fails p95, i guess that's normal though. so is heat the only concern when the vcore goes up, or does it actually hurt it just to be at that level for no other reason than it being that high? i also upped my fsb by .1. could i up my NB also? or no matter what i do is the vcore going to have to stay up?

also, how can i change RAM timings? mine is 5-5-5-15 800mhz but is running at 5-6-6-16 at 835mhz.

is there anything wrong with having a high vcore if temps are fine? i have the e6750 @ 3.4 now with a 1.45 vcore. in p95 the hottest it got was 62c. does that seem okay? just wondering if HEAT is the only reason a high vcore is dangerous on a processor...
 
I had a very nice e6750 that ran stably at 3.714 GHz Prime stable in all mixes. I swapped it for a Wolfdale but that was a pretty sweet chip. It's possible that your memory is holding you back. I seem to recall that the highest vcore I had was 1.475V. Your temps are definitely fine. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

You might be limited by something other than your CPU. Unless you have a really dud E6750, you shouldn't need that much Vcore at those frequencies. I would bump the northbridge +0.1V and I would also get the RAM running at at least 2.0V. Then back down your Vcore to 1.4V and see if you're just as stable and if so, how far you can keep pushing it.
