Help with dv to dvd

i need some help on how to transfer my 35mm video tapes to dvd on my computer..ive tried a few diffrent ways but it takes really long..therer must be a easier way....plz help if you know anything about this topic!!!!

It will take a long time because you have to play back the videos in real-time. So no way to speed the transfer process up. For a whole package deal that will capture, edit and burn, this works great:

Just be sure to get all the updates for it once it's installed.
