I need to have two monitors display the exact same image. Can multiple monitor feature in Windows XP handle this, or does it just extend the desktop (both monitors show different parts of the desktop).

I can either use the multiple monitor support in Windows XP, or I can buy a VGA splitter, but that requires dedicated hardware. I'd like to be able to just have a spare video card when I'm done, rather than have a VGA spllitter box. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ultramon may be what your looking for Rich,It has a feature called mirroring. I use Ultramon with my dual set up and it's great.....I havn't used the mirroring feature though. They have a forum on there site so maybe you can get more info there. Good luck

ATI cards can "clone" natively in WinXP.
