help with display to a tv

i have a vga & svideo video card. when i change the display to TV the tv shows only a black screen, (as opposed to the default no signal blue)

any ideas why?

i have a geforce2Ti, and it is not dual monitor capable, it can only do one at a time. i recently reinstalled windows and it has not worked since then, worked before though.

the drive i have was the geforce drive for windows xp from nvidia.com
