Help with diagnostics

Hi guys.*

I had a problem, my comp occasionally wouldn't power up. But once on, ran fine. Then one day it began to cut out whilst running.*

A friend of mine tried a new motherboard, exactly the same one. But it was still the same. He popped the old one back in and left it at that.

I spoke to another friend who suggested its more than likely the psu, so I bought a new one. I've just installed that. It now powers on eventually and seems to stay on at the boot stage.*

BUT.. When I first turn it on, it beeps twice and cuts out (all fans etc. Everything!) then powers on itself again. Without me pressing anything. It does this three times before staying on... It has done this consistently 5-6 times.*

Any ideas what this could be? And if I should just carry on and reboot? As I work on some pretty important stuff, I don't want it to cut out on me again.*

Thanks in advance. Please move this to the correct section if this isnt it. I was unsure where to post!

Sorry, forgot to include a few details...*

I'm running off a corsair cx600m, motherboard is a Asus p8z77-v and pprocessor is an i5 3.4ghz. Graphics card Nvidea Geforce gtx 660
