Help with Decision on Motherboard

I am planning on buying a Shuttle motherboard, AN35 Ultra. This is a Nforce2 Ultra 400 board. Can I use only one stick of DDR 400 ram? It is listed as dual channel. Shuttle make almost the same board with a single channel for ram. I plan on putting an XP 2500 Barton chip and 512mb ddr400 ram. Thanks

sure, a single stick will be fine. Using dual channel will get you a *little* boost, but probably not noticeable. Have fun!
