I have been having issues the past couple of days. It started yesterday when all of my USB ports werent working on startup (working fine the day before). Now today system will not boot into windows got a errror message "missing ntldr". Temperatures were very high when USB ports were inop. What do you guys think? I'm leaning towards a power supply or maybe a mobo.

specs
ASUS P5B Deluxe
E6700 Core2Duo
2gigs corsiar ram
Antec Sonata II case w/free power supply

Please ask for more info if you need it.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Well considering the PSU in the the case is a piss poor one i'd say you need a new PSU. But that may not be whats causing the problem. I think the error message and missing inop USB are a result of the CMOS becoming corrupted. Its not big deal and easy to fix. Check your motherboard's manual for how to clear the CMOS. Should be a jumper on the motherboard that you have to move over and back to reset it. Once you've done that go in and get your bios setting back to where they need to be. Don't forget to put the system clock back to the correct time and date.
