Hello,
I just installed a new CL Blaster 3D Riva TNT2 PCI card into my dual Pentium pro workstation running Windows 2000.
The install went fine for the hardware, software (Blaster Control v4.03.01.11) and drivers (v5.12.1.0). Windows 2K lists the card as a "Creative CT6955" and the bios is v2.05.4.17.03.
After the install, I tried to use some of the feature of Blaster Control. I get a windows error "BCxxxx has generated errors and will be closed by windows" a Dr Watson report is then generated. This happens to all Blaster Control applets (BCMAIN.EXE, BCTWEAK.EXE, etc.) with the exception of the diagnostic applet (BCDIAG.EXE).
The diagnostic works (without finding any problems) until the OpenGL test. At that point the BCDIAG.EXE generates a Dr. Watson report.
I also noticed that after loading Blaster Control, the 3D screen savers no longer work and also generate reports.
Does anyone know how I can fix these problems?
Thanks for any input.
Tuttle
