!!HELP with Counter-Strike and Mic!!!

ok my specs
wink 98se
inland 32bit pci sound card
Lbabtec Axis-302 headphone with mic

i plug it in my headphones into my sound card so where i can hear myslef talk.
when i try to enter counter-strike (cs) i get this following message why loading

"Unable to initialize waveln. Trying DirectSound. Unable to initialize wave imput. You wont be able to speak to other players through a microphone"

i also went to the sierra folder then cs and there i icon for voice tweak. fixed that so i can hear myslef but then i get this aror also.

'Cant create waveln device (16-bit signed mono at 8k.)

If your modem has an audio thing or wave device installed (you can check that in your Control Panel), you need to uninstall that. I had the same problem as you and it turned out to be that. Hope this helps.
