I don't know if anyone remembers this cooler, but I cannot get it off my friends CPU. His CPU is throttling hard core and I think the paste has probably long gone after 6 years.
The four pins look like screws with a spring on it, but when I try to unscrew it, it doesn't really do anything.
It looks like this....is there a back plate? It isn't heavy at all so I don't know why it would need one.
