Hello all, firstly I would like to apologize for my english, now the problem, my computer was working fine until one day it turned off, the fans stopped working and the only option was to power it up again.
So I did and I got 2 beeps from my mobo and a message that said that the cpu had a thermal problem and had to shutdown. That seemed very weird due to the fact that my computer ran for 6-8 hours a day for aprox 2 years without and issue.
So after trying to replace the thermal paste on the hsf and changing the power supply with no luck, (my computer kept shutting off at the 5-6 minute mark, yeah I timed it), I send the computer to a friend of mine who works at a computer shop.
He did several tests and told me that my cpu hsf/fan was not working properly anymore so he replaced it and that he also detected some malfunctions with one of my ram sticks and that he had removed one.
So the computer works again for an hour in the computer shop and then when I came home, it doesnt work again. It restarts at the same period of time 5-6 minutes.
Now when it shuts off I no longer get the message that the cpu its overheating.
