Can anyone help or know where I can find this out...I have the name of a PC on my network, but I need to know the user who is on the machine - is there a way to do this - the machine doesn't have a web server so pings don't respond - I want to write a VB app to do this, but am not sure how to - anyone know where I can start or if this can even be done??? Huh?????
Where di u get that? If it's on the network, and your subnets are correct, you can ping it and get a reply.
Web server has nothing to do with it.
I too would like an app that can show me who is logged on to what pc on the domain.
