Help with Compaq Deskpro EN PIII 1.0 ghz

I have a Compaq Deskpro EN PIII 1.0 ghz and i would like to put xp pro on it without the compaq operating software. Is there anyway i can install a regular XP pro on this machine?

Just boot off of the Windows XP cd, and format the hard drive when it asks you (suggest formatting it NTFS) and then just install Windows XP after it finishes formatting.

I have the bios set to boot off the cdrom first, but it still will not do this.

any other suggestions????

Is it XP Pro Corporate Edition?

Depending on the version, may not be a bootalbe CD.

Just make the BOOT DISKS from the CD or download them from here:
