Help with Clone CD error message

I've just recently been receiving an error message while trying to burn CD's. Message is "failed to get disc information" Burner has worked fine in the past. Also get similar messages with other burning software. Thanks in advance

have you tried to reinstall the drivers??? uninstall them and then do a fresh install...also, try diff software after you do this...if none of these fix it, its pretty safe to say that your burner is dead

do what dave said and change the software.. or even update firmware... but before you say it is dead..

can u spin up a normal cd?

because if it can read/access a normal Cd then the burner should be in working condition!

I've notice that when I have multiple cd burning software on my PC at a time, I sometimes get weird things. Try uninstalling cd burning software
, then reinstall CloneCD.

The disk may be sratched up or your burner lens may need some cleaning (rarely that is the case).
