help with choosing CALL WAITING SERVICE

I have a 56k modem and when i am online i miss important calls. To make things worse, i spend most of my time infront of my computer, doing stuff online. can anyone tell me what is a good call waiting service that i can use to help me with this problem. I know some service comes with a small fee, i am willing to pay for that. I just want to know which service is reliable and dependable.

I don't know all the available options, but see if your local phone company offers a service that's like voicemail when your line is busy or doesn't answer. Mine (Verizon) does.
