I don't know which power supply to get that is both GOOD and NICE (LED lights) and the brand must be reputable. Also, I plan to go SLI so its gotta be SLI certified. The X-Navigator has nice lights but I heard that Aspire has really bad stock power supplies. Aspire also has some nice power supplies but once again, I am afraid of Aspire's durability. The OCZ ModStream seems good but not sure if its good enough for SLI. I haven't seen the OCZ PowerStream in action so I don't know if it has lights or not. Please help.

Yes, the PowerStream has lights

And it's a good PSU.

OCZ makes good psus. and it doesn't need to be "SLI certified" to be able to run SLI. if it's made by a good company, consider it already SLI certified if it's 450w and up

Oh, thank you guys! Go with the PowerStream then, but I'll think about the SeaSonic first.

umm, dont spend $180 dollars on a power supply when you can get the same quality for like $80.

Alright, I got another question.

There are 2 OCZ PowerStreams that I saw (@ newegg) and one of them was SLI certified...But they looked exactly the same! The SLI certified is obviously more expensive (about $5 more expensive than the non-SLI certified). So, my question is: Is there a difference? Or not? Alimoalem said that a PSU doesn't have to be SLI certified as long as its from a good brand/company and has more than 450 watts. Same or not the same?

Get a Tagan. That's all I have to say. So much thought put into every little aspect of it. Looks sexy from the back of the case too.

BTW, Tagan cost around 90 bucks. I got mine for 85. So yeah, you won't be dissappointed man.

why are you buying funny looking lights? that's ike buying giant windshield/fender stickers that say TRD for a Acura NSX. It just looks immature/stupid/annoying and once the novelty wears off, you'll be stuck hating how bright it is. The front of my case is bright enough for me to think about getting a new case(the power button glows very brightly), probably a lightless sonata or p180. Seriously, you will hate it once you have it. It kills the mood and is needlessly distracitng when you try to play, say doom 3 in the dark and nothing looks nerdier than cold cathode lights, and not only do they use power that could be going to more important components(they are 12v devices too), but they create heat, something that psus try to eliminate since heat=lower operating efficency and higher sound. If you want to literally be a 40 year old virgin...

this psu will power 99.5% of systems

This psu will power the othe .5%(56 or 58a max on +12v rails)

a psu does not have to be sli certified to run sli. Sli cert means nvidia looked at it and decieded it had 2 pci-e power connectors and didnt blow up. The cert means basically nothing.

Ditto. My case has ONE blue LED in the front. Pisses me off. I'm thinking about switching out my Blue cathode light for a uv one so it won't be so bright. Plus my wires and mobo will glow.
