Help with Chaintech VNF4 Ultra - Doesn't Boot

Okay I am trying to put together the system in my signature and I think I have come to the conclusion that I cannot use a regular PCI video card with this motherboard in order for it to boot. Does anyone know if this is in fact the case? Do I need a PCI-Express video card in order for my system to boot? Because right now the only thing that happens when I turn my system on is that the HDD spins, and all the fans come on.

Thanks for the help, and hopefully this is in fact the problem, I have tried almost everything and am pretty sure this is it.

Yes, there is an issue with standard pci video cards working in the board. Chaintech is aware of the problem and is working on a fix. Note, that a pci-e video card will work just fine. 😉

OMG that you so very much, I have been trying the past week in order to fix this computer, to no avail, now I will be ordering my 6600GT!!!!! WOW I am so happy, I have been doing EVERYTHING you can think of to try and get it working, lol, was just about to return the board, thanks dude

Can anyone else back this up? I hope this is the problem, but is there any statement by Chaintech saying that? Or does anyone else agree with FastEddie?

Thanks guys, I hope this is the problem, but I don't wanna rush in and buy a $190 GPU only to find out my mobo is the problem.

ALSO: If I buy the Chaintech 6600GT would this be better since I have the Chaintech mobo?
