i'm trying to overclock a celeron 1.2a (tualitin) on an Abit VH6T. It is ROCK-SOLID stable at 123 fsb (12X multiplier) and 1.5v. i've run CPUStability on it for 14 hours without one problem or glitch. however, if i try to bump it past 123fsb, even just to 124, it refuses to post. i'm assuming it's because the video card doesnt like the odd timing (124/4 = 31). if i bump it up to 129fsb and push the voltage as high as it will go (1.575) then i can get it to boot into windows and its fairly stable. if i push it to 133fsb, it will post but it hangs as soon as it starts to load windows. i'm pretty confident that if i could bump the voltage up to 1.625 or maybe 1.65 then it would run perfectly. but the mother board refuses to let me go that high. is there a secret to getting around the voltage lock?

i KNOW someone out there has run into the same thing. if you could point me in the right direction, i'd REALLY appreciate it!

Yes, try the wire trick to increase your VCore to ~1.80v. With that try and my VH6T I'm able to run my 1.0A to a FSB speed of 153MHz. A real nice & fast system indeed... With the trick the boot-up voltage will be 1.675v and you will be able to set it in the BIOS up to 1.775v which gives a nominal 1.8v to the CPU.
