help with car situation

I'm totally out of ideas and I need some help, I figure you guys could give me some good advice

My uncle gave me his beat up old accord 5 speed so I can learn how to drive a manual car
I got the registration, plates, and applied for a new title last wednesday.
They said I need to get the car inspected within 7 days. I live in MA.

Today, I'm driving to go get the car inspected and of course during a turn, the ball joint snaps right off.
I get the car towed back to the front of my apartment , street parking.

Now, I want to just get rid of it. But I don't have the title, it's being processed at the RMV.
My end goal is to get rid of the car, what are my options?

Can't donate it, I don't have the title,
Can't leave it on the street, I don't have an inspection sticker
Can't junk it without the title...

Find a local store owner who will let you park it until you get the title. Pay a few $$ save the impound / storage fees.
