Help with burning a video DVD using Nero or Pinnicale software

I have a mpg file that I want to be a Video DVD to play on a TV.

Nero wizard isn't any help and Pinnicale get's to 50% and no futher, but the driver never spins or startes to write.

 
The file apperently needs to be converted to dvd format. Use TMPGenc to convert it to mpg2 352X480 or 720X480. Then burn it in Nero. Put the file in the video file.

TMPGEnc is free.
