Help with build for friend

Okay, so I'm gonna build a system for my friend. Nothing special, just enough to do some light gaming, audio editing and a lot of surfing and all. Here are the components that I already know I'm gonna get:

Chenbro Gaming Bomb (case)
? 35,28

DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D (mobo)
? 119,83

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Manchester, 3800+, Socket 939, OEM (CPU)
? 145,50

Maxtor DiamondMax 10, 200 GB, 7200 rpm, 8 MB, Serial ATA300 (HD)
? 66,16

Old DVD burner (CD/DVD)
? 00,00

OCZ OCZ4001024ELGEGXT, 1024 MB, DDR, PC3200, 400 MHz, 1 x (RAM)
? 104,84

Huntkey LW-6450HG, 450 Watt, Retail (PSU, heavy enough. Huntkey makes suprisingly good PSU's)
? 37,73

Arctic Silencer 64 Ultra TC (CPU cooler)
? 9,13

Arctic Silver 5 Premium Silver Compound 3,5g (cooling compound)
? 3,87

And here's the question. What graphics card to get? There's two major (and actually only) contestants. They are:

XFX GeForce 7300 GS, 256 MB, DDR2, PCI Express x16
? 58,02

Asus EAX1300PRO /TD, 256 MB, DDR2, PCI Express x16
? 70,26

Which one do I get?

Thanks in advance 🙂.

I just looked at some benchmarks and it seems the X1300 Pro is MUCH faster than the 7300GS. For only 12 more euros, it's a better choice, and it has better video quality as well.

This is the DDR2 version, though. I saw some benchmarks, but those included an X1300 PRO with (G, can't remember?)DDR3 RAM..

Are you aware that when this is finished, you may become 24-7 tech support for him forever?

QFT. I don't build computers for friends anymore. If they're not tech saavy enough to build their own computer, they're not going to be able to maintain it either. That means lots of virus/adware/spyware removal questions for you after your friend jacks up his computer downloading pr0n.
