Trying to get my nextel i870 and my pc to communicate. Purchased a bluetooth dongle and installed it in vista with no problems. If I go to the bluetooth settings of the phone, it scans for devices and immediately finds my computer. It prompts me for a passphrase on the phone as well as the pc. After I enter it, it says everything is OK.
If I select a pic on the phone and try to transfer it, it scans for a connectiopn and never finds my pc. Anyone know what might be wrong?
BTW, it works fine on my laptop w/built in BT.
UPDATE:
OK, messed with things some more. If I right-click the bT icon in the taskbar and choose "Receive a File" then I can send it from my phone. This is really annoying to have to do this. I checked the setting s on my pc and I do have it checked to "Allow Bluetooth Devices to connect t o this computer" so I think everything shoud work.
It just won't let me send it from my phone without first clicking "receive a file" on my computer...
