Help with Audacity

I want to edit an mp3 file encoded at 192 kbps. I imported the file, edited it, but after I export it, it ends up being 128 kbps. How do I do it so that there's no loss in quality?

I'm pretty sure that going to preferences, file formats, and then selecting 192 for bit rate will do it.
