Help with ATI AIW television quality please

I had a radeon all in wonder, and replaced it with a 9700 AIW. Immediately I noticed that the quality of the television on the computer went downhill. The Fox Channel, which was very clear, is now very snowy- while many other channels remain clear... but I record off that ONE channel!

Why would the quality of the tuner go downhill? Is there anything I can do, or did I get a defective card?

Thanks for any suggestions (yes, I updated the catalyst software as it has come out.

Is the Fox channel a lower channel? There's been some talk about 2-6 channels having worse quality. Most people have simply bought a bi-directional amplifier at Radio Shack and seems to clear up the problem.

it is Channel 6 here. I bought an amplifier/ splitter for my line as I split it off into 3 televisions. Do I need the bidirectional amplifier as well?
