I am getting an Asus P3B-F motherboard and i want to run a geforce3 ti200 in it...the problem is that the asus board is pretty old (pIII slot 1) and only supports up to AGP 2x and the gf3 is AGP 4x...i was just wondering if that would cause any problems or what would happen if i tried to run a system like that

thanx,
matt

It will work fine. There is NO performance difference between AGP 2X and 4X. Some VIA chipsets actually must be run in AGP 2X because 4X causes problems for them. Please note, however that GF3 + vid cards are highly dependent on CPU speed and if you're pairing it up with like a P3 500 or whatever, you're not going to get speeds like they do in the reviews.
