Help with Asus A7V and IBM GXP75

BIOS doesn't auto detect to HD.
The IBM 75GPX is connected to the Primary Ultra ATA100 connector.
I also have one CD-drive connected to the Secondary IDE connector.
Both are set to Auto detect in BIOS but the HD's parameters doesn't get filled in,
the CD gets configs right thought.

The Asus A7V manual says that if the motherbord can't recognise the HD it may be too
new..

Does anyone have the same problem or know how to solve this?
