alright let me tell you my situation... i just built a new computer with 6800 gt pci-e.... everything was done and i attached it to my crt to see if everything boots up properly soooo i was satisified..... then i attached it to my apple 20" cinema display and i was ABLE to see it and installed windows blah blah... however in windows it said "not enough power going into the video card" sooo i found out that the adapter to the vid card was lose so i swapped it and i didnt get the error and more... however after the error was gone... my BIOS went with it tooo!!.... i called bfg up.. and they were like "remove the power from the vid card" so i did and still no more bio post.... and then he goes on and saying "oh well u are not suppose to see it." i was ripping off my hair and screaming saying i saw it before!!!... soo anyone know how to fix the problem? my computer specs if it helps i dont use SLI just single...

athlon 3500+ 939pin
1gig corsair
asus SLI deluxe
1 x bfg geforce 6800gt0 pci-e

my cousin has the 23" display on ati 9800pro and it shows fine.. but just stretched out obiviously.... anyone help me or direct me to help =( i looked at nvidia site and it says no.. but i read some people on this forum site got it to work,.... help!!

i know alot of people are having this bio post.. some people fix the problem by switching to the other dvi connector... i tried that... NOTHING.............!!!!! well its weird some people either works or not... i had it working then no morE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ......... NO MOREEEE

i head that for the apple 30 inch you need a card that supports the dual link dvi thing? *forgot what its called where the regular dvi signal/frequency isnt strong enough* not sure if that also applies to a smaller screen like this...

its both imverygifted.... apple displays cant display something when its sooo low that i heard... and then some cards do display it on the monitor... sooo both are at fault..

Check your PM and also, what power supply are you using? I've never seen the not enough power display - you do have the PCI-E power connector on the card connected right (the black one)? I'm on an AGP version of the GT and have an Antec 400W, no problems.

I'm not exactly sure why the monitor would be at fualt??? Is this one of the newer aluminum 20" screans? I'm fairly certain they are built to a standard spec, I would assume it's your video card.
