I just finished intalling this MOBO with a P4 2.4MHZ 800FSB and trying to do some overclocking. When I go into the BIOS the option I have is to change the Bus frequency between 100 to 400. I can't change the the CPU multiplier, it's fixed at 12. Does anyone have this baord and tell me if the multiplier is an adjustable option. I thought that all P4's came unlocked. Is it possiable that my CPU is locked?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

only engineering samples are unlocked... pretty much the only way to overclock the P4...and the P3 were through FSB. 🙁

oh i didn't read the article... and i don't know if they were indeed using an engineering sample. but i had P3 boards that enabled me to change my multiplier. of course it didn't do anything. 🙁
