Help with albatron kx600 pro not posting

Hey on gods of the system build Ive got a problem. I just built a system from Fry's with the following hardware:

Albatron kx600 Pro Motherboard
512 PC3200 Kbyte RAM
Athlon Xp2200+ CPU


When I put the mahcine together the very first time it booted I got video and then it shut down.
Ever since then the machine lights come on and hd spins up for about 30~40 seconds, no video and then I hear the machine restart. I have tried removing everything so far but no dice..... any suggestions???

Ok I did a test ...... is there any reason that an XP2200 + will not work with PC3200 Ram???? I threw in some crucial 266 DDR and the machine booted fine and the boad recognized the xp2200. When I put in the Kbyte, it wont even come up to the screen before it reboots... any ideas????

Could be a few things like the board just doesn`t like that Kbyte ram,or you may need to adjust the ram timings in BIOS to get stability(that`s if you can get in BIOS).

I always stick with well known good quality ram like Crucial, saves lots of headaches ram wise.

that may be it... i have the crucial in there right now and it's working just fine so far...... but then again its just not rebooting yet...
