i have an abit nf-m2 nview mother board with a 3800+x2 processor and a nvidia 7950 vid card with 2 gigs of ram and i have been getting BSOD very frequently. i loaded xp onto it and installed all the drivers(including nvidias firewall) i then started getting the BSOD error labled
DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
i googled this error message and found out it was driver related and the BSOD gave me the driver file
NVSNPU.sys which i found out was related to the nvidia firewall.so i decided to wipe my hard drive and reinstall xp.
i wiped the harddive and in the middle of writing files right after the it wipes the hard drive and i get the BSOD of death out of nowhere and get the same error
DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. but this time it does not give me any driver file. so i'm completely confused now. anyone have any ideas?

Specs:
Abit nf-m2 nview mobo
amd 3800+ x2
nvidia 7950
maxtor 320GB HD
480W PSU
any help would be great.

I would try just one stick of ram, or different ram settings in the bios. Higher numerical values may help. For instance, switching to cas 3 or from 1t to 2t might work.
