Help with A7V600

Trying to enable my onboard audio with initial install. When I was loading all the drivers with the CD, it said my OS would not work.

That can't be right, even Win98 would support SOME kind of audio. And of course ASUS doesn't provide much help when down.

New info - The AD1980 SoundMax driver is compatible with Win98SE, but not Win98 it said. I need to get something that works for FE.
